A new adventure in an iconic space

The Barn is a recording studio steeped in history, rich with the stories and songs of iconic figures of the Irish music landscape.

The recording studio was initially designed by Roger D’Arcy (Recording Architecture) and Daire Winston (Beechpark Studios) as a Drum/Choir/Rehearsal room separate from the former Beechpark Studios. After 13 years in use, in September 2022, the Barn was transformed into an open-plan, ever evolving music production facility by sound engineer Kevin Frieden.

Catering to the talents' visions and meeting the individual's needs.

We wish to connect, aid, learn, and catch a great sound in a tranquil setting. Our focus is to achieve great sound right at the source and taking the time it takes to achieve this.

Nestled in the Irish countryside, the Barn is surrounded by beehives, chirping birds and lots of green. This setting offers a relaxed work environment away from the city.

With even decay times over the whole frequency range, an alluring room sound emerges that offers excellent versatility. It measures 9 x 7.5 x 5 meters. The kitchen area/booth behind a large sliding glass door offers excellent isolation if needed. Further, it is not available for dry hire.
